When I see a butterfly outside in a park or in a garden, I take a passing glance and move on. But, something happens to me when I visit a butterfly farm. I become mesmerized. I’m like a kid in front of a TV watching cartoons. Can’t. Stop. Staring. When I went to the Amazon while traveling in Ecuador, the eco-lodge had a butterfly farm. There were all types of butterflies with all types of colorful wings. I had a few shots I could have chosen for this week’s Suh-Weet Shot, but I liked the way you can see the colors and designs on this one’s elongated wings.

Colorful? More like Brilliant! September in Texas was fantastic for butterfly sightings as they made their flight further south. Nice shot
